We recommend that you patch test {Apply a small amount of the new product to clean skin on the inside of your elbow or wrist. If a rash or redness appears, discontinue use of product} your skin the first time you use any of our products. If any adverse reaction occurs, discontinue use immediately. All products are for external use only. No medical claims implied on our website or product descriptions are intended to be used to self-diagnose or treat any condition. If any of our products get into your eyes, flush with water immediately. If any irritation occurs, consult a physician immediately.

Please note that due to the handmade and natural nature of BSC products you may find variation in color, and aroma from batch to batch.

Shelf Life: BSC uses only the most healthful alternative preservatives we can find. While all of our products are tested to ensure freshness, we cannot guarantee freshness and effectiveness of any products kept after the recommended 6-10 months {or date noted on product details}. We also recommended storing our products in a cool location away from direct sunlight to maintain freshness and effectiveness.

Allergies: Just because it’s natural doesn’t diminish the chances of your skin having an allergic reaction. Please be sure to check if you have any known sensitivities to cosmetic ingredients and/or essential oils. BSC recommends doing a patch test prior to using a product. BSC lists ingredients on each package and cannot be held responsible for allergic reactions to our products. Babies: Here are just a few essential oils that are recommended to avoid using on infants (again, this is just a reference, please be sure to check with your physician regarding any oils, extracts and supplements you administer to an infant):
